Eldon died on February 9, 2022 at the St. Rita’s Hospital. He was born on December 4,1925 in Kenton to the late Pearl and Louela (Bopp) Sherman. He married Saundra Harsh in 2004 and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 1 daughter; Dara (Kenneth) Allsup of Kenton, 3 grandchildren; Hannah Allsup, James K. Allsup, Dailyn Campbell, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 sister; Caroline Marie Sherman and 1 brother; Dale K. Campbell.
Eldon was a WW2 Veteran and a recipient of the Silver Star.
He was a member at Salem Church of Christ and the Victory Gospel Singers.
Eldon was a very dedicated Republican. We have lost a true pioneer and a great proud American.
