Eldo served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Harriet M. Blomquist on December 21, 1949 in Gary, Indiana. Eldo worked as an electronic technician for 50 years, retiring in 1992. Prior to moving to Newton in February 2008, Eldo had lived in Kenosha, WI for 30 years, Mesa, AZ 6 years and Hartford, WI for 5 years. Eldo was a devoted and caring husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.
Eldo at the age of 79, died on Friday, June 13, 2008, at the Hospice of Jasper County’s Monarch Wing in Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
