Eldenna Celia Smalley of Green Forest, AR went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2011. She was born on March 27, 1929 near Golden, MO. She was the youngest of 9 children born to George Henry and Mary Margaret Jones. She and her family lived near Golden, MO until she was 9, then they moved to Lampe, MO. Eldenna attended Blue Eye High School and also attended SMSU in Springfield, MO to earn a teaching certificate. On March 16, 1946 she was united in marriage to Jesse John Smalley and to this union two children were born. Her faith and church were of up-most importance. Eldenna will be remembered for her passion of teaching Gods word. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Robert Smalley of Green Forest, grandchildren, Jeffery Smalley and wife Florence of Green Forest, Mindy Both and husband Neil of Temecula,CA, John Smalley and wife Jessie of Green Forest, Tim Jones of Berryville and Michael and wife Andrea Jones of Berryville, great-grandchildren; Austin Smalley, Hannah Both, Madelyn Smalley, Brooks Both, Madison Smalley, Macy Jo Smalley, Joneese Smalley, Grant Jones, Maryn Jones, Lakeyn and Kennedy Jones, one brother, Glenn Jones, sisters Goldie Stiles and Mildred Frost. Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Smalley, one daughter, Mary Jones, sisters; Evalena, Cora and Hazel, brothers, Loyd and Orvan Jones.
