Elda A. Heckman, 98, of Hamburg, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015, in Reading. She was the wife of the late John H. Heckman, who died in 2002. They shared over 66 years of loving marriage. Born in Upper Macungie, Elda was the last living of 13 children born to John and Valeria (Roth) Sunday. She was involved in many church and evangelical activities. Survivors: son John P. Heckman and wife Joy of Jacksonville, AR; daughter Ruth Adams and husband Kenard of Bethlehem; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
