Elbert Lee Shaw, 88 of Belton TX. Lee was born January 6, 1933, in Nacogdoches, TX to Verna and Mayme (Cordova) Shaw. Lee died June 16, 2021, Temple, TX. He married Wyvonne Anita Weston on March 24, 1973, in Salado, Texas.

Lee joined the U. S. Army in 1950 at the age of 17 and retired in 1970 as Sergeant 1st Class. He was a Veteran of The Korean War and served two tours in the Vietnam War. Lee was awarded Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and countless other accommodations. He retired from Civil Service at FT Hood after 20 years of service at Directorate of Logistics. After retirement Lee had expanded his interests in Real Estate and was a member of the Free Masons Fraternity 32nd degree.

Preceded in death by his parents, Verna and Mayme Shaw; son, Melvin Lee Shaw; grandson, Joe David Wood Jr.; daughter in Law, Carmen Sieling Shaw; Siblings, Margie Blades, Carl Shaw Gilbert, Ray Shaw John, and Shaw George Shaw.

Survived by his wife, Wyvonne Shaw; children; Kimberly Wood and husband Joe of Belton, TX, Michael Ray Shaw and wife Bobbie of Belton, TX, Gary Lee Shaw and partner Fernando of Belton, TX, David Weston and wife Mary of Hermann, MO and Carl Weston and wife Angel of Harker Heights; grandchildren, Michael Ray Shaw II, Shanna Casey and husband Aaron, Sabrina Ligons and husband Merrell, Holly Standeford and husband James, Rachael Zerbst and husband Alexander Samuel Weston; five great-grandchildren and, siblings, Raphael Shaw of Nacogdoches, TX and Corrine Kinchen of Denham Springs, LA.
