Elaine Hoffee Salmi 69, of Show Low, Arizona, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 with family by her side.
She was born to Robert and Ruth Hoffee in Mt. Erie, Illinois. She married Arthur Salmi in 1991.
She is survived by her husband Arthur and son: Mark Hoffee and fiance Shelby of Flagstaff, Arizona; daughter: Sarah Balistreri of Austin, Texas ; step son: James Salmi and wife Melissa of Georgia; step daughter: Dawn Lloyd of Georgia; brother: Jerry Hoffee of Odin; three sisters: Sondra Jamison and husband Richard of Arizona , Linda Evans and husband David of Odin and Trena Jeffords and husband James of Kell ; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Elaine had a great impact on many lives. She will be sadly missed by all of her family, friends and many students.
She was a Christian and is currently walking the streets of Glory with our Lord.
Elaine received her master’s of social work at U of I and masters of special education at SIU. She worked as a special education teacher / administrator for many years in Arizona.
