On the evening of Friday, December 11, 2020, Elaine Collins, 75, of Riley moved to her Heavenly home. Elaine was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children and grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.
Elaine was born at home in Cory, Indiana on November 22, 1945 to the late Ernest Modesitt and Francis (Hull) Modesitt.
Elaine loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, with all her heart, and she loved God’s Word. Though she was a humble, gentle woman, Elaine was nonetheless a powerful prayer warrior, and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying have had on her family, her friends, and the world at large. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend with a servant’s heart and a passion for helping others.
Elaine is also survived by her daughters Tina Lorenzen and husband Bobby of Port St.
The family would like to extend special appreciation to all of the prayers and support during this unprecedented time. Family is asking that everyone send them ways that Elaine has touched their lives.
