Elaine Marie Phillips of Crawfordsville died at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Vincent Hospital.
She was 60. Born to Darrell and Lois Grupy Call IN Effingham, Ill., she was a graduate of Van Buren High School in Clay County. On March 14, 1981, she married Jack Phillips.
He survives. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Larry Kunkel of Wayne town and Barry Kunkel of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Terri Kunkel of Sellersburg and Sherri Moore of Rossville; a stepson, John Phillips, of Darlington; a stepdaughter, Jana Conn, of Cutler; two brothers, Michael Call of Brazil and Gary Call of Carbon; 12 grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
