These immediate family survivors are the luckiest people on the planet to have had Elaine in their lives.

Elaine’s friends have described Elaine as “their rock, their best friend, & their bundle of joy”

Many friends have said over and over: “Elaine is the kindest person I know!”

Elaine Louise Christopher, formerly Dias and Valerio, 77 years young, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed into the hands of the Lord on Tuesday morning, October 18, 2022.

Elaine was born in Taunton Massachusetts, her biological parents were Frank & Alice Dias.

At the age of 4, Elaine was adopted by Joe and Renee Dias, Elaine’s family immediately grew with 3 loving additional adopted siblings named Renee, Joe and Pauline.

Elaine had a “third mother,” Florence Bourgoin, who remained a priceless gift throughout Elaine’s life.

“Flo” and Elaine called each other every day of their lives, even after Flo moved away to Connecticut.

These two fathers and trilogy of mothers helped shaped Elaine, our precious gift to the world.

Elaine was raised Catholic and grew up in Cape Cod, specifically Falmouth and Yarmouth, Massachusetts.

Elaine was the pride of Falmouth High, a fine student (and at 5 foot and 100 pounds for most of her life), was a very accomplished majorette in the marching band.

Elaine often worked tirelessly 2 jobs to support her ever growing family, having been married to Robert Valerio Sr. at a very young age.

The marriage lasted 27 years.

Tired of the snow and cold weather and the Massachusetts taxes and rules and regulations, Elaine moved to the income tax free state of Florida in 1978.

Florida is known as the “Sunshine State”, and Elaine fit in right away with her own “sunny” and happy personality.

Elaine became a Florida Real Estate Broker in 1981, passing the exam on the very first try.

Elaine became an entrepreneur when she started her own Florida real estate brokerage company in 2006.

Elaine was the epitome of working both sides of her beautiful brain.

Elaine became an accomplished artist, a bucket list achievement. Elaine created several masterpieces.

All settings of natural beauty, just like Elaine herself.

In typical Elaine style, Elaine always humbly deferred all the credit and rightfully so

to her amazingly talented and patient third generation art teacher Chris Burlini of Boca Raton.

Elaine was a proud founding member of the Painted Ladies Art Group in South Florida.

Elaine’s brilliant brain was nourished daily by being such an avid reader, with an ever ending thirst for knowledge her entire life.

Elaine was nicknamed, “Brainy Elainey,” by her mother in law, no less!

Albert Einstein once stated, “The measure of one’s intelligence, is one’s ability to change.”

Elaine was the ultimate in adapting to change, especially with technology!. Change could also mean, flexibility.

In Elaine’s view, Florida’s only main drawback was it had the annual threat of hurricanes.

Hurricanes can produce life threatening winds, and possible devastating storm surge and flooding waters.

Elaine knew that Water was the most powerful physical force on “Father” Earth.

Elaine also knew that Love was the most powerful emotional force on Mother Earth.

Elaine described love in different ways.

To cite a few of these ways, Elaine said it is about: “admiration,” “caring,” “putting them before yourself,” “they can do some things wrong,” “when they hurt, you hurt.”

What do both Water and Love have in common?…. Flexibility.

Water can take many forms and shapes as water seeks many levels. Another words very flexible.

Love is the same, taking on many of these similar shapes of water, flexibility being the key to any lasting loving relationship.

Elaine was the ultimate in flexibility.

Elaine is best known by all that had the privilege of meeting or knowing her for sprinkling “kindness”, “joy”, “empathy”

Elaine was “selfless” and “thoughtful” and “caring” too.

And of course, shared much “love.”

When you look up these  7 “words” in the dictionary, one can easily see Elaine’s picture next to each of them.

Elaine’s genuine joy for other people’s success, accomplishments & happiness was demonstrated by her infectious smile and laughter that Elaine constantly bestowed on them.

Elaine’s amazing listening skills, and her ability to remember and recall created lasting friendships.

Elaine was able to find common ground with anyone, by defusing conversations or diverting them to happy and loving topics.

Family was everything to Elaine, as she adored her children, including those grand and great, and loved them with all her big and beautiful heart.

As her family grew and changed over the years, she was flexible, never judging, just supporting each and every one of them with love and cerebral and kind thoughts.

Elaine joked she was also happy to move up from V to C in the alphabet upon her marriage.

The mutual love and respect for each other, Elaine and beloved husband Stephen, considered themselves to mutually be “the luckiest spouse in the world!”

Did you know that Elaine was recently awarded the “Sweetest and Kindest Lady on the Planet Award” by the latest opinion poll and some unsponsored survey?

And of course the polls are always right. Right?

No need to fact check this on “all mighty” Google as you probably won’t find it. But it is true, you just have to have faith!!!

Elaine was a woman of Christian faith and a true believer in God and Heaven.

By the way Elaine lived her entire life, and the way Elaine treated any person she met, Elaine most certainly is on her way with a First Class airfare and/or a speedy brand new Brightline railroad ticket to Heaven.

Elaine’s now is surely in the ultimate company of the Real Big Three: God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Another words, Elaine has achieved the Ultimate Lifetime Achievement Award!!!

In order to carry on Elaine’s example on how to live our lives on this Earth,

take a moment to consider for yourself this thought.

How would it be best to honor this Unicorn of Kindness and Love?

If you could, consider the following daily ritual.

Try to sprinkle daily that kindness, joy, empathy and “love” onto everyone you come in contact with.

While turning on this daily “water sprinkler”, consider doing these good deeds with a great big smile and laugh.

In turn your daily reward just may be, the Trilogy of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit along with Elaine smiling on you from heaven.

Then Elaine’s selfless, thoughtful and caring life will be honored and most importantly, remembered.

When Elaine’s last 115 days of her life were spent fighting to survive from 4 cardiac arrests, and one congestive heart failure in a hospital bed, her loving husband Stephen was able to

assemble a large prayer warrior list to pray for Elaine’s’ complete medical recovery.

Prayers were secured from all over the USA and many parts of the world.

Prayers from mountain tops, including Hawaii, Nevada, North Carolina, Tennessee & Pennsylvania to name a few in the USA, along with Mount Olympus in Greece, and even Mount Sinai in Israel.

Afterall, Geometry 101 states that the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line, and the shortest distance on Earth to Heaven is the Mountain top.

Unless of course, you count the countless prayers from airplanes from a pilot and the many travelling prayer warriors while praying for Elaine’s complete medical recovery.

There is one fun fact that unites the three pillars of faith.

Scholars from the Muslim, Jewish and Christian faiths (according to you guessed it, all mighty Google again!), all three faiths actually agree that God delivered the 10 Commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai.

Elaine had prayers from that Mount Sinai !!!

Elaine’s friendships were varied and diverse, if you were lucky enough to be in that select group.

Elaine was able to find common ground with all ages, with different political views and with various religious faiths.

Afterall, Elaine Christopher lived in the United States of America for her entire wonderfully kind and loving life.

In the Catholic faith, they say “That death is the passing from the physical world to the afterlife.”

In the Jewish faith, they say “May Elaine’s memory be a blessing.”

In the Greek Orthodox faith, they say “May Elaine’s memory be eternal.”

This is how Elaine can be described now, just resting peacefully and so tiny and “quaint like”.

As you gaze up to the mountain top, on the upper right side wall, you can reminisce about Elaine and remember her amazing smile, or any other way that made you happy and smile or just how good she made you feel.

There are two fountains outside the chapel that you can see through the windows that have 2 love birds kissing on top.

These two love birds symbolized the mutual love and devotion that Stephen and Elaine had for each other while on Earth together.

As part of the famous Our Father prayer goes, “Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.“

Someday they will be placed side by side again, which was Elaine’s favorite way of walking hand and hand with her beloved husband Stephen.

Elaine would say, “ I want to be right beside you!”

As this truly Earthly modern day love story closes this chapter of the book called Life, may Elaine rest in peace.

A life worth remembering for all time. Amen to that!
