Elaine F. Skubish, 82, formerly of Slatington, passed away Sunday, July 3rd 2011 in Cedarbrook – Fountain Hill. Born April 7th, 1929 in Tower City, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Miller) Reitenbach. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent P. Skubish, in 2004. She graduated from Pottsville School of Nursing and was employed as a Practical Nurse by Good Samaritan and Pottsville Hospitals. Elaine provided foster care for the elderly through the Lehigh Area of the Aging for twelve years. Survivors: Daughters, Stefanie Laurent and her husband Bruce, Christine Williams and her husband Bruce; sons Vincent M. Skubish and wife Virginia, James M. Skubish and wife Jodi; sisters; Grandchildren; Great-Grandchildren and a Great-Great-Grandson. Elaine was preceded in death by her Grandson, James Vincent Skubish.
