Elaine Evitts, 90, of Trumbull and beloved wife of Donald Finlayson, passed away on October 21, 2014. Daughter of the late John and Stephanie Latka, she was born on October 2, 1924 in Hoboken, NJ. Elaine will always be remembered for her laughter and joyful spirit. Her family was the most important thing to her. She loved being with others and always found the positive in people.
In addition to her husband Donald, Elaine is survived by her daughters Debra Adams (Robert) of Orange and Sharon Schultz (Craig) of Hamden, her grandchildren Stephanie Schultz, Melissa Adams , Kimberly Quinn (Brian), and Tracy D’Angelo (Robert), and her great-grandchildren Taylor, Nicholas, Robert and Rose. She is also survived by her step-children Donald Finlayson (Michelle) and Gail Fischer (Michael). Elaine was predeceased by her first husband Charles Evitts and her brother John Latka.
