Elaine Campbell, age 74, passed away Monday evening, April 25, 2016 at her home in Belton, Texas.
She was born July 1, 1941 in Quitman, the daughter of Rev. Johnnie Carlton Pollard and Cecil Ida (Combs) Pollard. She married Earl Campbell August 21, 1961 in Greenville, Mississippi. They moved from San Antonio to Belton in 1981.
She was a member of First Baptist Church Belton where she was involved in many church activities. She was also a volunteer with Helping Hands Ministry for several years.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bennie Pollard and Johnnie Pollard.
Survivors include her husband Earl Campbell of Belton, two sons Ben A. Campbell of Irving and Marty E. Campbell of Austin; one daughter Leah L. Campbell-Arnold of Jonestown; one brother James C. Pollard of Lago Vista and one sister Peggy Wall of Waco; three grandchildren Katherine Godwin, Sarah Arnold, Ethan Arnold and two great grandchildren Mason and Skyler.
