Elaine Joyce Bergerson, age 89, of Escanaba, passed away Saturday morning, March 11, 2017, at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.

Elaine was born January 14, 1928, in Escanaba, the daughter of Frank and Marie (LaComb) Condory.  She was raised in Escanaba and was a 1946 graduate of Escanaba High School.  Elaine was united in marriage to Harold “Swede” Bergerson and together the couple made their home in Escanaba.  Elaine worked primarily at home raising her family.  She was also employed at The Photo Art Shop in Escanaba and the West End Drug Store in the pharmacy and bookkeeping department.  Elaine was a member of St. Thomas Church in Escanaba.  She sang in the St. Thomas Choir, served on the St. Thomas Guild and was a longstanding member of the St. Thomas Prayer Line.  Elaine enjoyed taking trips to the casino, solving puzzles and playing Sudoku.  Additionally, she was a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan and will be deeply missed by her family.

Niece:  Kathy (Brian) Lee
Also surviving are 10 great grandchildren

Elaine’s parents, Frank and Marie Condory, husband, Harold “Swede” Bergerson, and sister, Lorraine Cavill preceded her in death.
