Eilleen Rogers
Uncasville, Ct – Eilleen (Labounty) Rogers, 89, of Crescent Point, Niantic, CT formerly of Starr Road, Uncasville, CT died Thursday, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT. She was born on September 28, 1924 in Montville, daughter of the late Lewis J. and Cecelia Marie (Bonville) Labounty. Eilleen was married to Leonard Rogers for 68 years until this year on May 17, 2013 Leonard predeceased his wife. Mrs. Rogers was a lifetime devoted caregiver to her family including her mother and father and her husband. She was a Boston Sports fan including the Red Sox and Celtics, she also loved UCONN Girls Basketball. Eilleen enjoyed ballroom dancing.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by a niece and goddaughter and her husband, Lisa and Paul Bazinet of Norwich, two nephews Harry Way of Norwich and Ronald Bonkowski of Florida.
