Kerrigan, Eileen V. was 94 when she passed away peacefully Wednesday August 13th. Born in New York City, she was a resident of New Milford since 1951. After 56 years of service, Eileen recently retired from Fairleigh Dickinson University where she was an administrative assistant at the Silverman College of Business, Metropolitan Campus. She was one of the early winners of the prestigious Pillars of FDU award in 2001 and was very active and colorful member of the campus community notably with the University’s union.
She was the beloved wife of the late George Kerrigan, the loving mother of sons George E. Kerrigan and wife Barbara and son Kevin J. Kerrigan. Eileen was predeceased by her brothers Michael, John, and Thomas Croghan and a sister Rita Croghan. She was the cherished grandmother of Lauren Zarro, Brian, Christopher, and Shannon Kerrigan and the great grandmother of Aiden and Mathew.
