MURPHYEileen Murphy, 70 years old, peacefully on February 22, 2021 of Wilmington De. (Formally of Southwest Philadelphia)Eileen attended West Catholic High School for Girls class of worked as a X-Ray Technician at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for over 20 years before going to A.I. DuPont. Her love for animals ultimately led her to work as a receptionist at the Old Marple and Wellington Veterinary Hospitals. Eileen’s passion in life was her family, traveling with her friends and her love for pets. Her travels took her to Rome, Switzerland, Paris, Ireland and many places across the US including her living for a brief period in Tucson Arizona. Eileen was always a source of endless support, love and encouragement to her siblings as well as her nieces and nephews. She was always present at numerous sporting events, practices, concerts and any other event involving her family. Anyone who knew Eileen, knew what a wonderful and generous person she was. A recent depiction of Eileen summed it up perfectly: “she wore her angel wings her entire life”. Daughter of the late Thomas & Eileen Murphy Survivors: Cherished Sister of Diana (Bill) Zajac, Tommy (Tammy) Murphy, Marty (Bob) Mills. Also survived by her loving Nieces & Nephews. Billy (Avrian), Eoin, Eileen, Nicole, Hannah, Bridget, Kylee & Bobby.
