Eileen M. Gregor (nee Dunkerly), 79, of Elkridge and formerly of Hanover, passed away on March 17, 2017. Eileen was born on August 14, 1937 to the late Harold L. and Rebecca A. Dunkerly. She worked as a health aide for a nursing home, was an Avon Representative for over 20 years, worked as a sales clerk in retail, was a cashier for IGA, was a school bus driver, a homemaker and a caregiver to all. Eileen had a love of music and was a choir director and President of the Howard County Interfaith Choir. She was very active at Dorsey Emmanuel United Methodist Church, serving as Sunday School Superintendent, VBS Director, UMW President, Youth Coordinator and Coordinator of church dinners.
Along with her parents Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Norman P. Gregor and her son, David P. Gregor; her brother, Norman “Pat” Dunkerly and her sister, Margaret Rippee.
She is survived by her children, Steven W. Gregor (Patricia), Verna M. Prehn (Bill), Sherry L. Taylor (Carl) and Karen G. McGhee (David); her siblings, Donald F. Dunkerly (Beverly) and Linda M. Coffee. She is also survived her grandchildren, Shawn and Jess, Heather and Joshua, Spencer, Brandi, Eric, Luke, Gregory and Cherise, Carl and Emmie, Chris and Catherina, Jamie and Alyssa, Jake and Jessica; her great-grandchildren, Alyziah, David, Jalen, Jose’, Maddie, Ashley, Eric, Evelyn, Keith, Shawn, Aubrey, Zachary, Griff, and Logan. She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews and was an auntie to many.
