Eileen M. (Fisher) Byrnes, 64, of Newington, loving wife for 41 years to Lawrence “Larry” Byrnes, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Born in St. Claire Shores, MI, she was the daughter of Patricia (Endres) and the late John Fisher. Eileen was a dental assistant to Dr. Finklestein for many years. A Newington resident for most of her life, Eileen loved gardening and the outdoors, but was happiest when she was cooking for family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She will be deeply missed by her entire family and all who knew her. In addition to her mother, Patricia, Eileen leaves her beloved husband Lawrence; her daughters Jacqueline Byrnes of Newington, and Barbara Basile and her husband Scott of Bolton; her three cherished grandchildren Brady, Anthony and Juliana; her five siblings, Terry Fisher and her husband Daniel of Hernando, MS, Kathleen Badger and her husband Frank of Melbourne, FL, Bruce Fisher and his wife Shirley of Newington, Elizabeth Zanoff and her husband Bill of Potomac, MD and Christopher Fisher of Ashburn, VA; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
