Eileen F. (Hasak) Falchek, age 68, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Robert J. Falchek, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Stephen and Eileen Hasak, she graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School and attended Southern CT State University.

She was an avid participant and fan of drum and bugle corps, and was a Drum Major in the Fairfield Colonials. Eileen worked for many years in the banking industry at CT National Bank, Gateway Bank and People’s Bank achieving the title of Vice President. Following retirement, Eileen worked for 15 years at the Stop & Shop in Bridgeport. Eileen was a terrific cook and loved preparing meals for her family. Talented in crochet, she found great joy in knitting beautiful Afghans for her family and friends.

She loved animals of all kinds, especially cats and dogs of all breeds. Eileen was an avid sports fan and a devoted Yankee and NY Giants fan. In addition to her loving husband Bob, she will be sadly missed by her sisters, Cathy Boroskey and her husband Robert of Cocoa, FL and Mary Terry and her husband David of Sandy, UT; her brother, Martin Hasak and his wife Judith of Stamford; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Woods of Norwood, NY and several nieces and nephews.
