Eileen Lester was born on 01/08/1924, in Dayton, Ohio and died 12/10/2022, in Sanford, Florida.
Eileen attended Oakwood College, now Oakwood University, graduating with an associates degree in teaching. She also sang with the Wright Family Singers.
She married the love of her life, Pastor Isaac Lester, Sr., and was an excellent cook and baker, an educator, a seamstress, a gardener, a musician, and a Bible worker.
Cherished as “Babe” or “Aunt Babe” to the Wright family, as “Eileen” or “Aunt Eileen” to the Lester family, and as “Sister Lester “ to about everyone else, her views were often sought on a wide range of topics. And she always spoke with such authority. To paraphrase the old E.F. Hutton commercial, “When Sister Lester talks, people listen.” Whether she was offering counsel, teaching Bible, sharing cooking and baking secrets, or simply giving her opinion on whatever issue she was queried about, her words were often considered definitive.
Preceded in death by mother and father, Willa and Nathan Wright, siblings, Dale, William, Paul, Harold, Audrey, and Walter, and daughter, Cassandra Lamar Paschal.
She leaves to mourn, dearest husband, Isaac Lester, Sr., Sanford, Florida, Audrey Brown.
