Eileen C. Cox Coovert, 92, of Anderson, passed away on December 23, 2012 at St. John’s Health System Anderson, Indiana. She was born on September 11, 1920 in Muncie, Indiana and resided most of her life in Muncie. She retired as the Director of the Senior Citizen’s Center in Muncie.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Muncie, and Gethsemane Foursquare Church in Anderson.
Eileen is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Carol of Muncie, daughter, Judy Alltop, daughter, Rachel George Burk of Iowa, daughter, Sherry Acy Puckett of Kentucky, daughter, Caroline Mike Dickson Bystrzycki of Florida, daughter, Barbara Robert Logan of Muncie, sister, Barbara Coovert of Anderson, friend, Wanda Haines of Anderson, 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Cox, sister, Della Coovert, brother, Jack Coovert, mother, Helen Coovert, and, father, John Coovert.
