Eileen A. Stivers, 90, of LowPoint, IL passed away at 7:45 am on Monday, March 13, 2017 at her daughter’s residence in Toluca, IL. She was born on November 5, 1926 in Livingston County, IL to Eugene and Cecil (Winkler) Moulton. She married Neil A. Stivers on July 14, 1950 in Metamora. He died on March 11, 2000.
Surviving are her children Daryl (Star) Stivers of LowPoint, David (Jean) Stivers of Washburn, and Diane (Don) Gensler of Toluca; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by great-grandson Andrew Ledbetter and brother Willis Moulton.
Eileen was a school teacher who taught at several one room school houses in her early years of teaching.
