Mr. Egbert William Peebles was born January 25, 1925 to the late Egbert Peebles and Laura Miller Peebles. “Bud” as he was fondly known, confessed hope in Christ in July 1943 and joined Mt. Zion CPCA Church where he served as a Deacon and a member of the Senior Choir and Male Chorus.
Deacon Peebles answered God’s call on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. He was preceded in death by one step-son, Josh Russell; five sisters, Ida, Matilda, Rebecca, Katherine, Laura Mae and one brother, Eddie Peebles.
He leaves to forever cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Classie Mae Wright Peebles; two children, Richard (Connie) Peebles, Harvest, AL; Sallie Peebles, Triana, AL; five grandchildren; one devoted grandson, Ralph Lanier; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
