Edythe Lillian Mancini (nee Reeve) died Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mt. Holly at the age of 89. Mrs. Mancini was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Ethan and Lillian (nee VanDeusen) Reeve and was a lifelong resident of the Burlington Twp. area. She was a graduate of Burlington City H.S. During World War II Edythe worked at Fleetwings Co. in Bristol, PA. She later worked for the Burlington County Times in Willingboro. She was a very active member of the Women’s Club of Burlington and was always involved in their charitable activities.

She was a past member of the St. Joseph’s Church Altar Rosary Society. She was an avid bridge player with her friends at the Wedgewood Restaurant in Burlington. She also loved the shore, particularly Long Beach Island. She spent every summer on Long Beach Island with her husband, Ken, until his passing in 2008. She will be most remembered for her love and passion for her family and the times spent with them, both in Burlington and at the shore.

Wife of the late Kenneth, Sr., she is survived by her children and their spouses; Kenneth, Jr. and Christine of Edgewater Park, Joan and Tim Fitzpatrick of Medford, Mark and Eileen of Surf City and Scott and Ann Marie of Sicklerville, her grandchildren; Jennifer, Geoffrey, Pamela, TJ, Leah, Brian, Kayti, Angie, Michael and Drew as well as her five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters in law Louise Mancini and Helen Reeve and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
