Edwin Farrell “Sugarbear” Saunders III, 29, of Bridgeport passed away on January 14, 2011 at his residence in Shinnston. He was born in Morgantown on September 22, 1981 the son of Edwin Farrell Saunders Jr. and Hazel Yvonne Hollway Saunders of Bridgeport. In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers; Travis Lyndale Saunders and Jonathan Ashford Saunders; his maternal grandmother Frankie G. Holloway of Clarksburg and several loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He is also survived by his significant other, Alecia Gillespie and her sons. He was a valued employee of the Family Dollar Store in Nutter Fort, and often commented on how much he loved the staff and customers. He loved football, was a graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School class of 2000. He had completed 3 years of credits at Fairmont State University and was in the process of returning to school to complete a degree in Laboratory Technology. He was also a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Nutter Fort where he was baptized on September 21, 2003. He never knew a stranger and was loved by all.
