Edwin Frederick Carlson, age 85, of West Haven, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008, in Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Helen Scott Carlson. Mr. Carlson was the son of the late Carl and Mabel French Carlson; he was born August 13, 1922, in Seymour, CT. He worked in the transportation department of Yale New Haven Hospital 48 years and enjoyed many years of bowling with friends and family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Ruthie Williams of Orange, Rainy McNamara and Chicky Negretti both of West Haven, brothers Edward Carlson of Hamden and Robert Carlson of FL., 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He was predeceased by a sister Ruth Welch.
