Edwin Clark Peasley 82 Loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle and Friend left this earth May 21, 2011 surrounded by family to walk in heavens gardens with the love of his life Marge and dog Snert. For those whose lives he touched he will live forever in their hearts.
The things that Ed enjoyed most in life were not fantastic or grand but simple things, visiting with family, watching the great grandchildren play, sitting under a tree with a cool breeze blowing, a walk, watching birds, playing and loving up his cats.
Ed was born April 9, 1929 to Lawson and Mayme Peasley in Hayworth, IL. He lived most of his life in Hayworth and Waynesville IL area, later in Bloomington IL then in Shannon IL. Wherever he lived he made many good friends.
Ed retired from I.S.U. He also spent 9 years in the Navy.
He is survived by his daughter, Paula (Pat) McMahon, son, Nick (Patti) Sylvester, daughter, Bonnie (Kim) Stager, six grandchildren; Kitty (Jeremie) Wilson, Ryan Stager, Marlyse (Scott) Johnson, Penny Robertson, Zach and Andy Kloster, brother, Paul (Mary) Peasley, and nine great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Marge, granddaughter, Tami, five brothers and three sisters.
