Edwardo attended grade school at Guadalupe Montessori, making some of his lifelong friends there. Edwardo took a shot a playing sports in his younger years, playing soccer with his brother and sister. He was the equipment manager for the Silver High Fighting Colts and participated in the Silver High Choir where his love for music continued to grow. He graduated from Silver High School in 1996 moving to Albuquerque shortly thereafter. While in Albuquerque, he was a manager at a local restaurant, carrying the aspiration to become a DJ. Upon returning to Silver City, Ed was a tech support agent with Stream. In 2001, a job opportunity in Albuquerque had him running back to the city that he would call home until his death. While living in Albuquerque, Edwardo worked a variety of jobs including casino cage cashier, Walmart associate, amphitheater plaza manager, and alcohol compliance officer. Working at the amphitheater was his favorite job because of the good music and atmosphere.

Edwardo loved to go out dancing with his friends and got to know several club DJ’s who inspired him to continue his passion for DJ’ing. Edwardo was the DJ for family gatherings, setting up his equipment and light show, making sure the family was moving and grooving.

In April of 2011, Edwardo faced his biggest battle, and that battle was renal disease. Edwardo had a love/hate relationship with dialysis but went to treatment three times a week. He made sure to inform friends and family of his diagnosis, explaining as needed, and also made sure they knew about his love for Funyuns and gummy bears during his dialysis sessions. Ed loved to cook for people. He loved to host parties and get-togethers, watch action and disaster movies on the big screen. He was an avid movie buff, especially superhero movies. His favorite things to do in life were watching movies, going to concerts, and watching WWE in all its variations. He was a very avid 49’ers fan to the extent of talking stats with his friend, Michael and his brothers and defending his team to Cowboys and Green Bay Packers fans. Edwardo was very excited to be an uncle and loved his nephew, Hava, dearly. He had a big, loving heart and helped his family and friends however he could, whenever he could. Edwardo, you will be missed!
