Edward W. Burkit, 52, of Fountain Hill, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg in Bethlehem . Born in Allentown , he was the son of William and Katie (Aides) Burkit. Over the years, Ed was a HVAC technician, carpenter, fisherman on a shrimp boat and an auto mechanic. He loved to build and fly remote control airplanes and cars. He was a former member of Buc-Le-Aero Sportsmen Club and the AMA – Academy of Model Aeronautics . Survivors: He will be greatly missed by his parents at home; daughter Jessie R. of Allentown; brothers Nathan A. of Zionsville and Mark A. and his wife Lynn of Danielsville; nieces and nephews Jocelyn, Matthew, Erica, William and Nick; uncles John, Gerald, Ronald and Steve.
