DURHAM Mr. Edward Thomas Parrish, Jr., 78, of Durham, died on Monday, April 2, 2018.
Mr. Parrish was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Edward T. Parrish, Sr. and Mabel Mozelle Cates Parrish. He was a retired Licensed Electrician. He was a member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church and loved the Lord with all his heart. He enjoyed taking care of his family and other people.
He is survived by his wife, Laverne Barbee Parrish; three sons, Thomas Anthony Parrish, Christopher Wade Parrish and Shane Anthony Parrish (Jessica Lynn); one sister, Sandra Clark; grandchildren, Coy Josiah Parrish (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Dixie Rose Parrish, Ruby Lynn Parrish, Amelia Grace Parrish and Adalyn Cate Parrish.
2018 at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ed Denton will officiate.
