Edward R. Naumann, 75, of Caldwell, died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at home of natural causes.
Ed was born the youngest of four children on May 3, 1936 in New Sharon, Iowa to George and Vira (Meeker) Naumann. He was raised and educated in Caldwell.
Ed was a Life Member of numerous organizations including; AARP, Caldwell Elk’s Lodge #1448 B.P.O.E., Eagles Lodge #3691, National Guard Association, American Legion Post #35, Boy Scouts of America, and Military Officers Association.
Ed is survived by his wife of 35 years, Davetta (Dee) Naumann; sons, Robert, Karl, Alex and Vyrl Naumann; step-son, Ted Dickinson; special daughter, Linda Dennis; foster son, Roy Toliver; a sister, Marvel Loosli; and numerous foster children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and a grandson.
The family wishes to thank Becky, Carrie, Nedra, Tonia, Brenda and the entire staff of Heart & Home Hospice who were so kind and loving. They also wish to thank all their friends for their kind thoughts, prayers and deeds.
