Loving brother to his sister, Marianne Matthews, and her daughters, Katie and Barbie. Ed retired as an executive from Ameritech where he worked for over 30 years. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and devoted most of his time there as a Medic helping others. Ed loved Michigan sports teams, playing golf, traveling with his wife and friends, and Burger King Whoppers with light mayo and minus pickles (inside joke).
