Edward Palmer, Sr. was born on January 22, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio to his parents, William C. Palmer, Sr. and Dollie Mae Stanley Palmer. He was the second of three children born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brother, William, Jr. and his sister, Debora. He received his early education in Cleveland, Ohio where he attended Sowenski Elementary School, Addison Junior High School and East High School. He furthered his education by attending Ashworth University in Denver, Colorado where he completed courses and earned a paralegal certificate. On February 3, 1983, Edward wed Mildred Palmer. To this union, LaKisha, Edward, Jr. and Cheri were born. This marriage was later dissolved. On April 16, 2009, Edward united in holy matrimony to the former Danielle LeShawn Wills. They first met in Denver, Colorado. Danielle remembers her husband as a good provider whose pride and joy was the care and nurture of his family. They worked hard together and exceeded all expectations. They were very proud and humbled by their accomplishments. To this union, one daughter, Sariah Nayon Palmer was born. She was the apple of her father’s eye. The family shared many happy and precious moments together. On October 14, 2011, Edward and Danielle renewed their vows. All the children remember their father’s laugh and his humorous personality. Edward was later blessed to have seventeen grandchildren, who were additional source of joy and pride in his life. They fondly remember all the happy and memorable moments they all shared together. By profession, Edward was employed by ProPak Corporation as a Maintenance Supervisor. He coworkers and employers remember him being hardworking, dedicated and a person who worked well with others. He was a man who led by example. He would never ask anyone to perform a task that he wouldn’t first do himself. Over the past four years, he was awarded several Employees of the Month Certificates. Edward was a fun loving man, who enjoyed life and those he encircled.
