Edward P. Kenny, 90, of LaSalle, passed away February 25, 2013 at Heritage Manor LaSalle.
Mr. Kenny was born January 8, 1923 in LaSalle to Patrick and Hattie (Stasiak) Kenny. He married Geraldine Wood on January 8, 1948 at St. Roch’s Church in LaSalle. Edward farmed in rural Dimmick Township for many years and retired from Motor Wheel in Mendota. He was a member of St. Hyacinth’s Church in LaSalle. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine of LaSalle; 7 children, Sue Ann Puckett of Herndon. Virginia, Edward G. (Judy) Kenny of Huntsville, Alabama, Linda (Peter) Sampo of LaSalle, Janet (Kendall) Frank of Princeton, William Kenny of LaSalle, Timothy Kenny of LaSalle, and Terry Kenny of LaSalle; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 2 children, James Kenny and Nancy Kenny; and one grandson, Michael Sampo.
