Passed peacefully with family on 9/30/14 at the age of 89. He leaves behind Mary Louise, a loving wife and partner of 67 years, three children, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren with another on the way, and many other friends and family– all who cherished him for the love and support, and the life teachings he constantly and generously provided.
Ed was a WWII veteran, serving 3 ½ years in the Pacific Theater, recognized several times for his distinguished action, including the Bronze Star award. After the war, he successfully developed his own real estate firm, and was a significant partner in what became one of the tri-state’s most successful companies.
He will be remembered for his inspirational, positive outlook on life, his sense of humor and his unwavering integrity and character. Ed truly lived a life that mattered and we will all miss him deeply.
