INDIAN ORCHARD – Edward M. Strycharz, 91, died October 4, 2009 at Life Care Center of Wilbraham. Born in Ludlow to the late Peter and Catherine (Kapinos) Strycharz, he was a lifelong resident of Indian Orchard. Edward served in the Army during WWII and was a charter member of the Polish American Veterans Club in Wilbraham.
He leaves three daughters: Carole Brayton and her husband, Gerry, of Monson, Mary Jane Strycharz and Acacio (Casey) Ferreira, of Ludlow and Karen Drumheller and her husband, Michael of Wilbraham; eight grandchildren: Kevin and Kelli Brayton, Beth and Keith Szemela, Marissa and Nicolas Falcetti and Mia and Matthew Drumheller and five great-grandchildren: Jack and Emily Brayton and Juliann, Joey and Maddie Szemela.
