Ed was born November 30, 1933 to Wilhelmina Leu in Madison. He grew up in Norfolk and graduated from Norfolk High School in 1953. Ed served in the Army form June 26, 1956 to June 25, 1958.
Ed worked as a mechanic for Brunswick Corporation in Chicago after the service. He then moved back to Norfolk and worked at ABC Bowl for several years. Ed moved to Scottsbluff and worked at the Great Western Sugar Beet factory. He then went to work for Burlington Northern Railroad in Scottsbluff. He eventually returned to Norfolk and was a security guard for Beef America for 10 years before retiring.
Ed is survived by his sister Joanne Klentz of Norfolk and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, 1 sister and 1 brother.
