Edward Leslie Flanigan, 76, of Clarksburg passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at United Hospital Center following an extended illness. He was born in Davis, WV January 13, 1935 the son of the late Violet Flanigan. He is survived by his wife Patty Sue Flanigan whom he married November 30, 1990. In addition to his wife he is survived by two children Angela Hanshaw and husband Ricky of Philippi and Annie Lane of West Union and one step daughter Frances Steward of Clarksburg and one step son Gayle Hood of Clarksburg and three grandchildren; Jacob, Josh and Tiffany Carbaugh. Mr. Flanigan was self employed in the construction business, he loved to work on clocks and was one of the best painters around.
