On the evening of November 26, 2022, Eddie passed away at his home in Deer Lodge, Montana. Eddie was 51 years old.
Eddie was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 18, 1971. He was the third child and first son of Edward and Barbara Waymire.
Eddie was an energetic child and loved sports. Growing up he was involved mostly in baseball in his pre-teen years. He got into fishing and camping and could hardly wait for the weekends to come. When he couldn’t go with his parents and sisters, Sheri and Kari, he would go with his buddies Cleo, Anthony and Brian. He started hunting at 9 years old. He loved hunting lizards in the desert nearby. Then he progressed to small game and eventually to big game hunting with mom and dad, and Danny and Adah, his aunt and uncle. Growing up with two older sisters, they had Eddie walking the straight line until he figured out he didn’t have to.
His love of animals grew when he left home and moved to Pahrump, NV while being married to Nichole, starting with horses, cows, pigs, chickens, and turkeys. He wanted it all – dogs, cats, you name it, he had it!
After several years in Pahrump, Eddie decided to move to Montana after being divorced. He hauled all of his critters and belongings in five trips to Montana. After a year, he married his previous girlfriend Heather Taylor of Las Vegas, NV. They separated after several years. His daughter Pamela Martinez remained with her dad after the separation. Pamela was his pride and joy – his little cowgirl.
Eddie was preceded in death by grandparents Leo and Bessie Waymire, Gerald and Grace McCullough; aunts and uncles Jerry and Laura McCullough, Judy Waymire, Doris Waymire Mendenhall and Jim Mendenhall; and cousins Shauna and Lee McCullough.
