Went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Age 91. Edward was born in Denver, CO on January 21, 1926, the son of the late Willem and Lyntje (Lodder) Leensvaart. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of New Life Christian Reformed Church in Grand Junction, CO.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Roberta (Rosendale) Leensvaart; daughter, Jan (Roger) Klok; three grandchildren, Timothy (Jamie) Klok, Kristin (Donn) Carlisle and Kimberly (Chris) Kakabeeke; six great-grandchildren, Nathan & Brandon, Matthew & Ginny and Jack & Natalie; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
