Edward Lee Harris, 45, of 6378 Mountain Valley Road, Axton, VA died Sunday, February 14, 2010, after a lengthy illness, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. He was born on January 24, 1965 in Martinsville, VA to Barbara McGuire Harris of Axton, VA and the late Lional Douglas Harris, also he was preceeded in death by his maternal grandparents Roy and Virginia McGuire and his paternal grandparents Ivan Charlie Harris and Ruby S. Harris. Mr. Harris was a cook for the Sirloin House and a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Axton, VA. Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter, Jillian Byrd Wilkins of Ridgeway, VA; a step-daughter, Journey Clark of Atlanta, GA; a son, Joshua Lee Harris of Martinsville, VA and a brother, Wayne Harris of Martinsville, VA.
