Edward was born October 14, 1974, in Mendota to Raymond and Shirley (Jackson) Gause. He married Marcie Loraine Klingerman on July 15, 1994 in Ottawa. He worked at Wal-Mart in Peru.
He is survived by his wife Marcie of LaSalle; his mother Shirley Gause of Peru; seven children, Felicia (Chris Ongalo) Gause, Tiffany Gause, Ryan Gause, Nick (Rose Johnson) Gause, Kimberly (Steven Lynn) Gause, Tyler Gause and Anthony Gause; seven grandchildren; a brother Gary Gause; a sister Betty Williams and many nieces and nephews.
