Edward C. Kingston, age 80, of Boerne, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2005. Born in Miami, Arizona, on April 29, 1925, he was the son of Hallack Clifton and Ella Milton Kingston. A resident of Boerne since 1989, Edward was a Veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during World War II. Mr. Kingston retired from Civil Service in 1980 from Ft. Lewis, Washington, but he has also worked at the White Sands Missile Range, Ft. Carson in Colorado, and Camp George West in Golden, Colorado. Preceded in death by his parents, Ed is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Ila Parrish Kingston; Daughter, Carolyn Kay Coleman and her husband, Ermal; Son, Jimmy Lee Kingston and his wife, Wendy; Grandchildren, James Edward Coleman, Jodie Marie Alamilla and her husband, Louis, Jr., Callie Leigh Kingston, and Heidi Leigh Kingston; Great Grandchildren, Alexis Ann Coleman, Zack Onsby Alamilla, and Logan Jack Alamilla.
