Edward Joseph Holub, age 93, a resident of Pasadena for 57 years, and formerly of Curtis Bay, died on January 11, 2015 at his home.

He was born on December 12, 1921, in Curtis Bay, to the late Agnes and Edward Holub. A graduate of Poly Tech, class of 1935, he went on to attain his bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from Johns Hopkins in 1956. He worked for the Glen L. Martin company, and later, for Westinghouse until his retirement. From June of 1944 until March of 1946 he served in the US Navy as a troubleshooter for Navy aircraft. A member of the American Legion, he was also very active in the Boy Scouts, Troop 478, for more than 30 years.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years: Helen Holub; three sons: Edward Joseph Holub, II and his wife Charlene, Karl Holub and his wife Debbie, and Brian Holub and his wife Bette; his daughter Alicia Holub; seven grandchildren: Adria, Christopher and his wife Pam, Scott, Daniel, David, Jennifer, Kyle, and Carrie; four great grandsons: Benjamin, Wesley, R.J., and Mason, and many friends and family members.
