Edward was born September 18, 1952, in Union, New York. In his younger years, he was a volunteer fireman in River Vale, New Jersey.
He was the former Worshipful Master of Masonic Lodge #673 in Arnold, MO, Founder and President of the Property Owners Assistance League, served as an election judge for years, and he campaigned for many Democratic candidates in Missouri.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Edward James Marr, Sr., and Doris Marr (nee Hamblin).Surviving are his beloved wife; Charleen Marr (nee Meeks), two children; Melissa Marr of Belleville, IL, and Christopher (Vanessa) Marr of Hillsboro, MO, and one grandchild; Riley Marr.
