Edward J. Thomson, 75, Anderson, died February 24, 2010 at Community Hospital, Anderson.
He was born February 17, 1935 in Camden, New Jersey, and had lived the past 4 1/2 years in Anderson, Indiana, coming from Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He attended Holy Name School and graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1953. He served with the New Jersey National Guard from 1957-1968. Edward retired in 1992 from RCA/GE after 38 years of service and Credit Lenders Service in 2005 after 10 years of service. A member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, he had been a volunteer at Community Hospital for 3 1/2 years.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary J. Hamilton Thomson; sons, George Katherine Davis of Anderson and Edward Thomson, Jr. of Oaklyn, New Jersey; daughters, Kathy Grant of Woodbury, New Jersey and Tracy Alan Koss of Turin, New York; grandchildren, Haley Olsen, Hannah & Summer Davis, Ashley & Alexander Grant and Christapher & Michael Koss. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward H. Thomson & Catherine E. Hammill Thomson; and a brother, William F. Thomson, of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.
