Edward Joseph Rossi, 84, of Merritt Island, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2020. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Charlotte, their sons Joseph and Stephen, and many cousins and close friends in Connecticut, Florida and Australia. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Joseph and Pauline Rossi.
Born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Ed learned a love for the great outdoors from his uncles and grew up an avid hunter and fisherman. He had a long career working at Remington Rand, Remington Arms and DuPont. By working in sporting goods he was able to meld work and sportsmanship. He was fortunate to make good friends at work who shared his passion. He loved making trips to Missouri to spend time together on a farm.
In 1992 he moved to Merritt Island, Florida in search of a warmer climate for retirement.
