Edward J. Rogers, 82, passed away Sunday March 10, 2013 in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.
Ed was born April 13, 1930 in Cicero to Joseph E. and Dorothy (Garwood) Rogers.
He was a U.S. Air force veteran.
He was employed at Lamont Plastics while living in Illinois and in Franklin at Golden Corral and Arby’s restaurants.
Ed enjoyed spending time playing bingo, fishing, woodworking and gardening.
Survivors include his companion of 20 years, Nancy Thomas of Franklin, son, Robert Rogers of Mississippi, step-son, Ricky Rogers, step-daughters, Theresa, Denise, Linda and Judy, sister, MaryAnn Crumm of Ohio, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Esther McTarsney, Beulah J. Starned and two brothers, Jewell and James Rogers.
