Edward J. Myszkowski, 88, of Normal, formerly of Wenona died at 6:00 pm Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Heritage Health Nursing Home in Normal, where he has been a resident since February 2014.
Ed was born September 22, 1925, the only son of John and Mary (Obermiller) Myszkowski. He married Betty L. Gualandi on March 22, 1951.
Ed is survived by his wife, Betty of Normal, his sons Greg (Connie) Myszkowski of West Lafayette, IN, Tony (Debby) Myszkowski of Peoria, and daughter Kathleen (Danny) Steffen of Congerville, Son-in-Law, Terry Baker of Wenona and a sister Dorothy (Darnell) Mann of Wenona. Eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Baker, his parents, four sisters and an infant great-grandson.
Ed was a World War II veteran, serving in the Navy throughout the war. He was a member of St.
