Edward J. Krupka, 77, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle died peacefully at his home on Monday, October 15, 2012. Born in Poland, son of the late Stanislaw and Weronika (Podhul) Krupka, he was a longtime New Britain resident. A kind, peaceful, generous, hard-working, funny and gentle man, he enjoyed music, crossword puzzles and loved to spend time with his family and friends whom he loved dearly. He was a machinist at Cold Metal Products and Stanley Works. Edward leaves his loving wife Barbara (Zajk) Krupka, his son Robert Krupka of Bristol, his daughter Maggie Krupka and her husband Hector Olivieri of New Rochelle, NY, and his beloved grandson Nathaniel. He is also survived by his sisters, Apolonia Warych of New Britain, and Teresa Henzlik of Poland, his brother Jerzy Krupka and his wife Jadwiga of Poland; his niece Elizabeth Strull and her husband Craig and their son Tyler of Burlington; his nephew Edward Warych and his wife Lisa and their daughters Sarah and Lauren of Southington, and many nieces, nephews and good friends. He was pre-deceased by his sister Agnieszka Krupka in Poland and his brother-in-law Tadeusz Warych in New Britain.
